Hibiscus & Bougainveillea

Today 18th May 2008 Sunday) is my very first time to visit my father’s grave all by myself. I was there at 5.30pm from attending ESQ training in Raffles Marina. There were two bunches of white orchids which it should be from his grandson, Norzlan. I added two more bunches of colourful orchids to it.
The hibiscus plant is budding but bougainvillea is not surviving. Need to replace it soon. I still miss him very much. It had been 63 days my father passed away. May his soul rest in peace in the care of his Creator, Amin.

Friend?

Received a call from my long lost friend yesterday. I was unable to contact this friend of mine when all her contactable numbers were disconnected. Anyway was happy that she contacted me.

She is aware of the demise of my father and I thought she is expressing her condolences. But what a joke, she is selling a ‘get rich’ plan! It is okay to do business, but where is the spirit of friendship? Since we knew each other since secondary school, why can’t she give me a call during my recent bereavement? Lost my number? My number is obtainable from the rest of our friends. She called again this afternoon and is persistent to meet me. She knew that I will be busy this whole week as I need to make preparation for my trip to Europe.

Money matter is more important than friendship nowadays. Gone are the days when the value of friendship is priceless.

Going to Europe

Being busy lately, surfing internet for places of interest in Switzerland and France. Myself going there for two weeks, whereas my daughter will be there for more than a month in Lyon. SQ flight tickets already in my hand, now how to move around there is another headaches. With limited budget you will definitely get migraine hahaha. Anyway will make this short trip an everlasting memories with my daughter, I'll always love her!
