I had baking session with the Orchid. They tremendously enjoyed themselves baking, a maiden experience for all of them. I baked Honey Biscuit. All of them looked forward for today as I promised them that we will baked biscuit after reading a book on how to bake HOney biscuit. A boy who refused to be absent today, as he told his mom that he did not want to miss the baking session, but too bad, he injured himself badly which needed stictches on his forehead yesterday while cycling. Anyway, i promised him that we will have another baking session somewhere next month.

I am proud to be a Singaporean!

Something happened today this afternoon. I was at my Communication course and time for my midday prayer. I found a semi secluded spot and perform my prayer there, unknowingly that spot is a walkway for three classes. During prayer, i heard thud sounds a few times. Upon completion of my prayer, the thud sounds appear and two young boys around the age of 9 year-old came out from one of the classroom and walk passed me, and a lady from the other classroom too walked out and passed me. I felt such a joy that Singaporeans are race and religion tolerance. Three of them waited patiently for me to finish my prayer before walking passed me to their intended destinations. Kudos to the maker of Singapore, Happy National Day Singapore!

Sports Day cum National Day

My children from K2 Orchid won gold medal for their spelling game. Total ten of them with each of them to pick an alphabet from the basket and ran to the other end one by one and at the same time to rearrange themselves to form 'GRAPEFRUIT'. All thanks to group leader Glenda Koh for being fast in rearranging her classmates besides daily practice of 'strawberry, watermelon and grapefruit'. My happiest moment in this new centre and i will strive hard to prepare them for next year primary one.
