End of 2009 K2 Orchid & K1 Popeye
K2 Orchid 2009
Today is the end of the year 2009 for the kindergarten children. Not a fun day to end the term. Some of the children attending the ITE at Bishan for fun fair. Lesson was carried out as normal, with K2 do Scrap Book and K1 a bird with their hand prints as feathers. I have yet to know which will be my class for next year. I hope they will give me another class but of the same K1 children for my K2 class. I am no more motivated to work with the present situation. I'm not sure why.......maybe because of the salary or because of the appraisal which i read yesterday. I believed that i have put on much effort and I am confident that i did more. Lesson plan i was given 3 which is not a fault of mine as the previous principal did not inform us of the new ruling required by MOE. Time management i was given 3 too, that puzzled me very much. I was strict on the dot with no time wasted. Principal did asked me to voice my dissatisfaction, but Iam not that type....too bad, a lousy character of me. Anyway......just wait and see and what will be will be!!

Just what i'm thinking now
ahhh...not a good day to end with. Someone's mistakes are your mistakes too. I'm speechless. She's too busy to vet the worksheets given and expect us to vet for her. I knew there's something not right in the worksheet that was did by senior teacher. Whichever or whatever reasons given, it is still teachers at fault. Hahaha 'How many have now?' - a direct translation from malay to english 'Berapa ada sekarang'.
Someone i knew and whom i used to meet almost everyday, refused to accept me in her facebook. But she added in the angmos and senior teachers. People are not progressing from where they came from, slave is still a slave, status is the focus of life.

PTM 13 November 2009 Friday
Completed the Parent & Teachers' Meeting (PTM)
What a breeze as parents asking less ridiculous questions unlike last term.
Well i just told them how their chidren behave in class. Most responded that their children acted the opposite at home but some do admit that their children are as what i just told them. Most parents are worried for their children who are not having much worksheets to be done. I admitted that our curriculum are more on project and team work where children are encourage to communicate with their peers and to ask questions. Daily class discussions are held in the morning and more 'why' will be aimed to the children and in return more 'why' will be shot back by the children...and the discussion will be on and on with no ending.
