At around 3.50am Hamidah and I went out to look for musafirs when Hamidah's intentions to give alms to them. Unable to find any as most of them already left for Subuh prayer in the mosque. When in the mosque and look for a spot to pray and to stay longer in it. But due to nature call...need to leave the mosque. While searching for the exit, I stumbled upon a so called basement where Sai were performed. At the end of safa, they left a portion of the hill where Siti Hajar climbed in searched of water. My eyes suddenly swelled when i noticed how rough and corrugated hill...no feeling i could express at that moment, just a doa may Allah blessed her sould and placed her in his Jannah, Amin.

Day 10

After breakfast at 7.45am, jemaahs to assemble at lobby. I walked down the stairs from 16th floor as not wanting to be late on this historical moments of my life and my legs were wobbling while hearing their instructions but I am confident that everything that happened there is hikmah...thinking about it, maybe it is one way of warming up before the long walk. The tawaf and sai were done simultaneously and led by Ustaz Mohamad Noor. Weather was on my side, soles ache but i survived...no comparison will be able to be compared to Siti Hajar ordeal looking for water at the barren land. Completed my tawaf and sai at 11.20am, Amin Ya Rabbal'alamin.

Perform my maghrib and isyak at Masjidil Haram. Felt so fortunate to be staying at Kilaf Indah, not going to waste such a fortune to miss performing my prayers there compared to some who need to travel 2.5km to Masjidil Haram.

Haj 2010 - (Day 10-Tawaf Ifadah)

In the morning after breakfast, we get ready to perform our tawaf Ifadah a.k.a. tawaf haji. This tawaf was led by Ustaz Mohamad Noor. After tawaf we went for Sai. That is the completion of our rituals for Haji....Alhamdulillah my wishes to complete this rituals completion without glitch.

Haj 2010 (Day 9 - To Mecca)

19 November 2010 (Saturday)

We left for Mecca after breakfast. An unfortunate or should i say fortunate thing happened. One of the jemaah collapsed while preparing to leave for Mecca.

We reached Mecca - Kilaf Kinda Hotel which situated just about 150m away from Masjidil Haram. I was shocked to found that our room facing the entrance to Masjidil Haram but not able to see the Ka'aba.

Haj 2010 (Day Eight)

19 November 2010 (Friday)
Prepare to leave Mina. Left Mina for Aziziah in the morning after breakfast. Reached Aziziah just in time for the men for Friday prayer.
We were placed in the same room with the same room mates. Nothing much activities to do, just the normal routine.

Hajj 2010 (Day Seven - 1st Melontar of 3 Jamrahs

18 November 2010 (Thursday)
After two cancellations, we managed to melontar the 3 jamrahs. We left after sholat Isya'. Saadiah came along and she carried a stool along for her to rest whenever needed. This time walk is not as emo as the first one where i felt undescribable feeling, maybe due to not what to expect in the first walk. We took different route via a long tunnel and it seem shorter distance compared to the first walk. After managed to stone two rounds of the 3 jamrahs, we waited in the vicinity for the clock to strike midnight to stone the last rounds of the 3 jamrahs. Immediately at 1am, we performed our last stone of the 3 jamrahs. Walk back to our maktab.

Haj 2010 (Day Six) Mina

17 November 2010 (Wednesday)
Day spent waiting for the next throw of the 3 Jamrahs.
Feeling sad for no apparent reasons. Oh Allah please guide me to your path and i prayed for my well being physically and mentally. Please accept all my doings and sacrifices in the name of Allah.
Our intention of going to Jamrahs were cancelled due to strong wind c/w thunder and lightning around 7pm. "Ya Allah, sesungguhnya aku mohon kepada Mu kebaikan angin ini, kebaikan apa yang ada didalamnya dan kebaikan tujuan angin dihembuskan. Aku berlindung kepada Mu daripada kejahatan angin ini, kejahatan apa yang didalamnya dan kejahatan tujuan angin dihembuskan, Amin'

Haj 2010 (Day Five) Mina - Melontar

16 November 2010 Mina

Spent whole night till dawn under the open sky of Mudzalifah.

At dawn we leave Mudzalifah for Mina around 7am.

We reached Mina almost noon, a short distance from Mudzalifah but due to road congested with humans and traffic it took us hours to reach Mina.

By 6.50pm after Maghrib, we continue our journey and this time we were going to Melontar Jamrahtul Aqabah, the biggest Jamrah of the three Jamrahs. We walked from Maktab to Jamrah about 15km away reciting 'Labbaikkaulah humma labaik....'

Immediately after throwing the 7 stones, Kak Ju did the Tahlul Awwal and proceed on foot back to Maktab. Reached Maktab around 9.20pm, physically exhausted and spiritually strong, Alhamdulillah!

On the way back, we recite Takbir Raya.

Hajj 2010 (Day Four) Arafah

15 November 2010 (Monday)
After Isya around 8.45pm we leave for Arafah. Reached there around 10.20pm. We were given a tent to rest till the next day. Here we prayed for the well being of self, loved ones near and far and we seek forgiveness for the wrong doings which were done by self and loved ones.

Hajj 2010 (Day Three) Aziziah

14 November 2010 (Sunday)
Spent time at Aziziah and prepare to go Arafah the next day.
Habits die hard...and while still in ihram, I forgetfully snip out one of my toes dried skins...ouchhh i will be penalised for it, will confirm with Ustaz later.

Hajj 2010 (Day Two) Tawaf Qudum

13 November 2010 (Saturday)
We reached Aziziah around 2am and we were placed 5 person to a room, myself, Sadiah, Hamidah, Rasheedah and Zulfa. It was a private family apartment and they rent it out during Haj. The apartment was huge with lift attached to every floor.



After Subuh, we prepare to do our tawaf Qudum (welcome), so we leave at 7.30am for Masjidil Haram. 8.00am my first sight of Ka'aba. Performed our tawaf Qudum and back to Azizial. After Isya around 8.45pm we leave for Arafah and reached there around 10.20pm. It was not that far but due to heavy traffic, our bus move at a slow speed.

Hajj 2010 (Day One-Part 2) Jeddah to Aziziah

12 November 2010 (Friday) - Saudi Arabia's date
Due to time different as Saudi Arabia is behind 6 hours of Singapore Time. Anyway reached Jeddah International Airport (specially operated during Haj) the day is already dark. The waiting time is really way too long to wait, but we have no other choice but to keep on waiting in the waiting area before we managed to get to check our passport. Upon found my luggage another waiting game to go through...where they have to check and take some documents from our passport. Now is the waiting game started...we prayed Maghrib and Isyak at the moushollah. Waited for the bus which will bring us to Makkah, and after waiting for long period of time we boarded the bus and the waiting continue...where I fall asleep and woke up and still in the bus waiting (for what? i dont know). It was not comfortable to be in the bus as there is no leg room in my seat, but what to do? bear with it and continue waiting.
At a stop, we were given Zam Zam Water, where i quenched my thirst. Another stop we were given a blue rubber bracelet for identification when we in Mina. Lost count of number of stops we made while travelling to Aziziah (one of a town in Makkah).
Reached Aziziah almost Subuh prayer.

10.30am to be in Changi International Airport to check-in for Jeddah, my first leg in performing my Haj Saudia Arabia Airlines SV5095 and boarding time to be 12 noon. Leave my house at 8.30am My family: Hubby, daughter, mother, brother Manaf & his wife and children Hafiz, Farah, Norzlan and Hisham with his wife, daughter, son and bibik.
Once in the boarding room, I was very emotional thinking of my daughter and what to expect in the days to come.
