We were here on 30th June 2007 (Saturday)
Early morning before depart for Mt Fuji tour, we managed to locate Zojoji Temple in Tokyo which was a walking distance (about 10 minutes leisurely walk) from our Shiba Park Hotel.
It is a Buddhist temple in the Shiba neighbourhood of Minatoku of Tokyo, Japan. The founder of Zojoji was Shoso. The temple was moved to its current location, right next to the Tokyo Tower in 1598. The surrounding grounds are large for in a city that seems to suffer from a lack of space. Although spent a brief time there I did get some shots of the temple.
