18) Holiday - Day Eighteen (9th June 2008)

18) Day Eighteen (My last day on vacation) - 9th June 2008
Well....everything when there is beginning will be followed by ending. My last day on my impromptu vacation, has comes to the end. Time to bid farewell to Switzerland (a country that i never dreamt that i could afford to go) and here i am bidding goodbye. I am thanful and fortunate to have a friend Faritha and her hubby Albert who accomodate me during my stay here in Switzerland, or else, i dont think i could afford the hotel charges. May Allah blessed them husband and wife with more good fortunes and happiness.
Many thank you to Albert for your hospitality and who acted lke a chaffeur who drove us to Lyon in Paris.
Thank you to my newfound friend Siti, for her eagerness to show us around Zurich on our first day. She really can walk with full speed!!! Anyway, all the best to you and hubby Roger.

17) Holiday - Day Seventeen (8th June 2008)

Strawberries picking time!. I go crazy cos it is my first time in my life I experience picking strawberries and ate it right away. Eat as much as you can, but you have to pay whatever strawberries you bring out. For some, what’s the big deal? But to me it IS a big deal!
Wish that I could share this experience with my husband and daughter.
Mmmmm....so juicy and sweet!!

Back from Erlah, i decided to tour around Sugiez. This is Hotel Delagare, less then 5 minutes walk from Faritha's house.
Sugiez train station

View on the way to Ins
Back from my 'lone ranger' short trip from Sugiez to Ins and back, went to Faritha's neighbour to share the strawberry that we plucked earlier in the day.

All these were made by her husband, a carpenter.

16) Holiday - Day Sixteen (7th June 2008)

16) Day sixteen - 7th June 2008
Went to Biel-Bienne.
Took cable car to Magglingen Macolin. Nothing much to see due to foggy weather, Up there, it is more like a sport school.

15) Holiday - Day Fifteen (6th June 2008)

15) Day Fifteen - 6th June 2008
GRINDELWALD
I came here all by myself from Sugiez. The weather was foggy and most places you need to take cable car which i'm phobia with, unless there is someone with me. Too bad, i sacrificed my urge to see the glaciers. Maybe one day with my hubby. But on the whole, the view there is awesome and you feel kindda peaceful.

Down from Grindelwald, I venture around Interlaken Ost. This is what I stumbled. From far, I thought "What?...swimming pool in this area?" When I get nearer, it was a river/lake.....as you see here in the photo, turquoise coloured wateR.
