Day Two - 24th May 2008
Out to GRUYÈRES, one of Switzerland’s most photogenic sights.
Lake Gruyere is one of the prettiest artifical lakes in Switzerland.
It was a gorgeous view of the mountains. After the lake we went to the Gruyere cheese factory and saw how the cheese was made and maintained. It was pretty interesting. A machine turns all of the big pieces of cheese and brushes it with water. It was like a mini -robot. You could see the aging process of the cheese from a light color to the dark yellow cheese. It was a lot of fun. Visited Chateau de Gruyere and we strolled on the village's only street. Cars are banned here. The castle was very interesting.
