GENEVA
Albert and his wife Faritha drove us to Lyon due to unavailability of hotel around Lyon Gare Part Dieu. It was then decided, they drove us there and back to Sugiez on the same day.
We made a short stopover at Geneva to admire the Jet D’eau @ Geneva.
This man-made water pump The Jet d'eau is quite impressive as it shoots water to a height of 100m and is the most famous landmark in Geneva. It's better if you walk along the jetty which extends from the port to the fountain itself.
As we drove by, we passed by The English Garden’s flower clock. I was screaming for the car to stop, but you can't always order someone around, right?.... :(
LYON
We reached Lyon Gare Part Dieu ahead of time at 6+pm, we still have 2 hours to go before we could meet Raihanah's foster parent.......we were WRONG! Raihanah received sms from her friend 'Anna where are you, the parents are here waiting for you!' Oooppss.....Raihanah did not get the amended email, to meet at 6pm! Like a busy bees we whizzed through the station looking for them, which was on the other end. Mdm Nicoloyanis came in just in time we reached there and without any further delay, she assured me that Raihanah will be served Halal food as there is no problem for Halal food in Paris. Bye bye and take care and whozzz she disappeared in seconds. Didn't get to survey Lyon, maybe next time.
